Student of the Month

The Rotary Student of the Month for Valley Vista is:

 

Alyssa Mittelhauser 12th grade

 

She was chosen by the math department for her outstanding academic effort.  If you have her in class, please take the time to congratulate her.

Culinary

Shelby Lake is a senior here at Valley Vista who is a Culinary Arts student who has been invited to compete in the top State Culinary competition.  Only 5 students from across the state were invited to participate in this competition.  Just being invited is an honor.  We will find out in November how Shelby does. Good Luck Shelby!!

Correction to student handbook

Please note the following revisions to the 2009-2010 Student and Parent Handbook:

1)  On page 30 in the discipline matrix for grades 7-12, the following infraction was inadvertently left off the matrix:

 

1st Offense

Leaving  Campus without Authorization/Unauthorized Absence/Truancy
