Valley Vista High School……………..Everyday Success!  Preparation for work, college and life!

Welcome to Valley Vista High School, a Highly Performing School.  I am honored to be principal of this great place.  As we open our doors in August, we will welcome approximately 2400 students.  Throughout these past few years, we could sense the energy and excitement of students, teachers and parents.  I have no doubt that this year will prove to be the same. We have put many programs and traditions in place. This year we continue to expand offering additional honors, advanced placement, Career and Technical Education and dual-enrolment courses.  All of the academic and extra-curricular programs we offer provide our students various opportunities to learn, discover and grow.  Working together, we have the opportunity and the responsibility to determine what Valley Vista is all about.  Maintaining a positiive, safe school climate and a culture of high expectations for our students and staff is key to our success.

This year will be filled with the continuation of many traditions.  We will continue to offer many student clubs throughout campus allowing opportunities for student involvement.  Valley Vista's athletic teams have been demonstrating "Victory with Honor" as we compete throughout the state.  At VVHS we encourage all students to get involved.

Academically, we continue to strive for excellence.  Last year,  we awarded over 2.5 million dollars in scholarship monies.  We have earned a Highly Performing label from the AZ Department of Education due to our focus on improved student achievement.

I invite you to become a part of Valley Vista High School.  Together we continue our journey to excellence!  We accpomplish this through our mission:  "Everyday Student Success:  Preparation for Work, College, and Life!"

Participate, get involved and have a great year!
