Cheer 8-12-10
DHS Cheer continues to shine
The Dysart High School cheer squad continued its award-winning endeavors this summer at the Arizona State Cheer Camp.  DHS, along with 15 high schools, participated in the competitive camp from July 31 through August 4.
Dysart’s varsity cheer team won the Superior team trophy for the camp and was named Camp Champs.  The varsity team also had three members recognized as the top cheerleaders for the event.  Vincent Herre, Jacob Dennis and Bailey Dick were given the top honor.
In addition to receiving the Superior team trophy, Dysart also won the Overall Leadership award.  This award is voted on by all competitors in the camp and is given to the team that demonstrated the most leadership to all camp participants.
