Riverview Sports Club

Coach Nebel, Chairperson
Sports Club is to be a resource to the parents not a burden. This resource will be free of charge to the students for each six week, two days a week on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 3:15-4:15 pm.
The following sports or activity will be scheduled throughout the year for both boys and girls who are in 4th-8th grades: basketball, volleyball, soccer, softball, baseball, flag football, cheer, and fitness activities. Throughout the year each student will also be exposed to the benefits of activity in life as well as personal satisfaction belonging to a group that has common interests. Another goal of this club will be to work toward Positive Behavior here at Riverview. The Sports Club will recognize positive behaviors and character qualities exhibited by students. This, in turn, will change our school climate/environment while teaching our Riverview students about positive character qualities when participating in each activity.
In order for someone to participate in Sports Club, they must fill out a form and return it before the start of any activity. To stay in Sports Club, participates must follow all the rules and guidelines during school and the after school activity. Siblings may not stay unless they are accompanied by their parents.
