Dear Canyon Ridge Families -
My favorite way of meeting people is face to face. If this is our first introduction, I will try to tell you about myself in words. I am the mother of two incredible young adults, Phil and Katie. I have been an educator since before the dinosaurs; education is in my blood.
My experience spans from pre-school teaching to University instructing. I primarily taught 3rd and 4th grade in public schools in Florida, but also gave instruction in music and technology. My administrative background includes working as a middle school dean, an elementary assistant principal, and principal for two different schools prior to Canyon Ridge. My doctoral degree is in Instructional Technology and Distance Education. I feel privileged to be appointed as your school principal. I believe you will find me welcoming and friendly. I strive to make decisions that are based on what is best for our school. The history of Excellence is evident and I am ecstatic about our future together.
