PES Choir

 PES Choir is now accepting new members the cost is $5.00. The choir is open to all 3rd – 6th graders with good grades, students of good character and who love to sing.  Parents if you would like your child to join, please complete a permission slip and return it to our Music Teacher, Mrs. Featherstone. The cut off date is February 23,  2010.

Override Fact Sheet

        Dysart Override Election - March 9, 2010

       Please Vote . . . Every Vote Counts!
 

       For Parkview Elementary School passing the override means:

Maintaining current class sizes

Continuing to provide art, music and PE classes each day

Guaranteeing full day kindergarten

Continuing band programs for our students

        For Parkview Elementary School not passing the override means:

Eliminating or reducing band

Eliminating or reducing art classes

Eliminating or reducing music classes and choir

Eliminating or reducing PE classes

Raising class sizes by 4 – 8 students per classroom

Potentially eliminating all day kindergarten

Eliminating Dysart’s K-3 reading program

        Dysart Override Facts:

Passing the override will not raise taxes; only continue what is in place. 

The average cost to an owner of a home with full cash value of $100,000 would be approximately $122 per year

The tax rates for residents from the Dysart District have declined for the last four years.

Dysart's New Family Resource Center has officially opened, 12397 W. Thunderbird, El Mirage, AZ 85335. The center is still needs the following items: winter coats & clothes, shoes, school clothes, plastic hangers, toiletries, plastic grocery bags, household goods, non-perishable foods, small furniture items are always appreciated. The February 2010 Theme is: "Gentle Used Shoes."
