Maintaining current class sizes
Continuing to provide art, music and PE classes each day
Guaranteeing full day kindergarten
Continuing band programs for our students
For Parkview Elementary School not passing the override means:
Eliminating or reducing band
Eliminating or reducing art classes
Eliminating or reducing music classes and choir
Eliminating or reducing PE classes
Raising class sizes by 4 – 8 students per classroom
Potentially eliminating all day kindergarten
Eliminating Dysart’s K-3 reading program
Dysart Override Facts:
Passing the override will not raise taxes; only continue what is in place.
The average cost to an owner of a home with full cash value of $100,000 would be approximately $122 per year
The tax rates for residents from the Dysart District have declined for the last four years.
