Handbook correction
Please note the following revisions to the 2009-2010 Student and Parent Handbook:
1) On page 30 in the discipline matrix for grades 7-12, the following infraction was inadvertently left off the matrix:
 
1st Offense
2nd Offense
3rd Offense
Leaving Campus without Authorization/Unauthorized Absence/Truancy
Notify Parent
Detention
One (1) Day Susp
Three (3) Day Susp
Five (5) Day Susp
 
2) On page 21 in the discipline matrix for grades K-2, the first infraction should be:

No Scooters

                                


Rollerblades, skateboards, scooters, go peds, etc., are prohibited on all Dysart campuses. (DUSD Student and Parent Handbook, p. 9)  Schools will not store them. Students are expected to follow all local laws when traveling to and from school and are encouraged to wear appropriate safety equipment.
