What a wonderful beginning to a fantastic year! We are so proud of our students for their accomplishments last year and so far this year working towards their goals. We narrowly missed an “Excelling” label last year and are consistently using data to guide our instruction to support continued student success.

We are nearing the end of the first quarter when our first grading period will end October 16^th. We look forward to the opportunity to meet officially for the first time with parents and teachers during our fall conferences that take place the week of October 19 – 23. We will observe half days with release times of 12:15 on the 22^nd and 23^rd to provide ample time to meet with all parents.

As most of you are aware, we have a very important election issue coming up in November. We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Gail Pletnick, Dysart Unified School District Superintendent, will be speaking to our parents and community to provide factual information about the override election and our budget issues. Please plan to attend this important meeting next TUESDAY, OCTOBER 6^TH, AT 3:30 IN THE CAFETERIA. Please become informed and vote in this important November election!

This is our fifth year working together to ensure that all students are successful and become productive students and citizens of the 21^st century, not only academically but socially but upholding the pillars of character. We greatly value the time and commitment from parents and families who spend time at home and in classrooms with their children reading to and with them, and reviewing important learning in classrooms daily. It is an honor to be a partner in your child’s education!
