NEHS


The National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) recognizes the accomplishments of 4th, 5th and 6th grade students.  The Countryside NEHS members must maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or above and participate in leadership and service activities.  Students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade may apply for NEHS in November.

NEHS will be meeting on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, beginning September 14, 2010.

NEHS meets in the library from 3:15 - 4:15 pm.

NJHS


The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is one of the nation's premier organizations established to recognize outstanding middle level students in grades 7 and 8.  The Countryside NJHS charter recognizes studetns for their academic accomplishments and challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service as role models and leaders.  6th and 7th grade students are eligible to apply for NJHS each spring.  

NJHS meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, beginning on September 14, 2010.

NJHS meets from 3:15 - 4:15 pm in the library.

AFTER SCHOOL
Unfortunately, the Dysart Unified School District will not be providing after school transportation for clubs this year.

If students are involved in after school clubs or activities, parents will be required to pick them up at 4:15 pm in front of the school or students need permission to walk home.

DRAMA CLUB

NEW SCHEDULE FOR DRAMA CLUB!

Due to the popularity of Drama Club -- students will be split into two clubs based on their grade level:


4th and 5th graders will be the "COMEDY" Drama Club



6th, 7th, and 8th graders will be the "TRAGEDY" Drama Club
