A Message From Our Principal Mrs. Timbrooks......
Dear Kingswood Families:
It is hard to believe that we are nearing the end of our first semester of school. We have so much to celebrate this year already! Our students are making great strides academically and working each day to achieve their “personal best” in all they do. Our teachers have been conferencing with each student individually throughout the year to set personal goals and monitor their academic progress. Helping children set goals is the first step to achieving their dreams. Setting goals motivates children to do their best. Students will learn if they have accomplished their goals after they participate in district benchmark assessments this month. In January students will review their data and set new goals with the guidance of their teacher.
I would like to invite you all to Kingswood on December 9, at 7:30 a.m. in our library for coffee, treats and an opportunity to learn more about the great things happening this year at Kingswood. I will be sharing information regarding current student achievement data, Title I, and other great programs and things to celebrate here at Kingswood. I look forward to seeing you all there!
