Bus
All Dysart busses equipped with A/C
While state law does not require air conditioning on school busses, all Dysart busses are equipped with air conditioning. The air conditioning on each district bus is designed to lower the temperature 15 degrees. Depending on the outside temperature, district busses may feel cooler or hotter on any given day; however, the air conditioning on the bus is cooling the bus down 15 degrees. Students are asked to keep windows on the bus rolled up so as not to let out the cool air provided by the air conditioning system. The bus air conditioning system may not cool to the same as a car; it does keep students cooler than the outside temperature.

Please stop by today to register your child if you're new to Luke, update contact information etc. We can be reached at 623.876.7300
  Meet the Teacher Night will be held on Thursday, August 5th between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. This is your opportunity to see what class your child is in, pay lunch money to the cafeteria, etc. Class lists will be posted in the cafeteria - come anytime between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. Doors will NOT open until 5:00.

Field Day

Field Day Notice
Parents/ Guardians:
Our Field Day will take place on Tuesday, May 11th & Wednesday, 12th.
Grade levels- Kdg- 4th (excluding Jones) will be on May 11th from 9:20am-11:00am.
Grade levels- 5th- 8th (including Jones) will be on May 12th from 9:20am-11:00am.
Reminders:
·         Students are recommended to wear sunscreen and/ or hats for protection from the sun.
·         Students are encouraged to bring water bottles, or there will be water and Gatorade for purchase $1 each.
·         Athletic type shoes MUST be worn. This is best described as closed toe, closed heel, fits snug around the ankle, and has no heel or lift.
·         There will be a couple water events, so students may get wet.
·         Parents are welcome to attend, but no siblings or non-school age children.
·         Parents can volunteer to work at one of the stations, please contact Mr. Barteski or Mr. Hojnicki.

·       The last day of school is May 20th; we dismiss at 1:00 p.m.
·       Eighth grade promotion is on May 20th at 10:00 a.m.
·       Please return ALL library books by April 30th
·       The cafeteria will accept only cash payments after April 30th.
·       Yearbooks are on sale for $20.00
