Mission:

Luke Elementary School commits to educate the whole child. As the educational partner of the community, Luke School provides an academically challenging and nurturing environment of mutual respect. Students are valued for their diversity and are inspired to achieve while developing into successful, responsible citizens of a fluid society.

Vision:

The atmosphere of Luke Elementary will be literate, well managed and will elicit values of respect, dedication, and integrity from the student population. The staff will operate in an environment of open communication. Professionalism will be modeled. Continuous assessment will be used to focus on strategies to facilitate learning. Staff members will be flexible in applying alternate teaching methods and will exchange experiences and procedures to develop high student performance. The parents of Luke Elementary School students will be encouraged to positively reinforce and participate in their child's learning at home and at school. The community will enhance the learning environment by working toward common goals. Community participation will be encouraged and Luke Elementary School will be receptive to recommendations and active involvement. Engagement of students, staff, parents, and the community will ensure Luke's vision is authentic.
