I am starting my second year as a technology trainer after spending ten years as a middle school social studies teacher. You may have met me already during one of last year’s in-services or at new teacher induction. I am excited to work with you in a formal training setting, small group or even one on one. There is no such thing as a silly question so feel free to call or email me about anything relating to how to use technology in the classroom or in the support of teachers. I am here to support you!

"You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat." - Albert Einstein.

Technology has come a long way and so has Dysart. After teaching various grade levels in various districts, I arrived at Dysart 3 years ago as a teacher before taking on the position of Lead Technology Integration Specialist at the District Office. My job was to answer the “Why do we use technology in our classroom?” naturally I was showing people how as well. This year we’ve consolidated all technology training in a single group and we’re here to help support our staff with all aspects of technology; the how’s and the why’s and the huh’s. =)

Upon my move to Arizona from Wisconsin in 1998, I was employed as a Counselor at Dysart High School. I remained there until the opening of Willow Canyon in 2003. I then took a year hiatus and returned to the district as a technology Trainer in 2005. My focus is on working with individuals and small groups to make your job easier.
